The Grapevine Center participated in the first annual Bantam Jeep Festival in 2011 with this Jeep which was designed and painted by a staff member.  Its symbolism is as follows:

  • The grapevines naturally represent the Grapevine Center;
  • On the front, in gold, is a mask which is a take off of Carl Monck’s famous painting “The Scream,” representing the anguish of mental health challenges, and drug and alcohol addictions; while the Happy mask represents the joy of recovery.
  • The rear wheel features a  helping hand reaching for the hand of someone drowning under water.  This is how people with mental health issues, or drug and alcohol addictions feel.  The Grapevine’s Peer Specialists, and the help available at our drop in center are that helping hand towards recovery.
